WHY I STARTED THIS COMPANY?
Education has granted me access to a wide network of people and opportunities but film school and exclusive fellowships and programs shouldn’t be the only way people get an “in” into the film industry.
VILIFY MEDIA (Video Life From/For You) is a company I started to help folks enter and grow in the documentary field while also supporting stories authored by and for the communities you see on screen. I believe there are more models we can explore to become thriving [emotionally, financially, and creatively] independent artists.
